When I was a freshman I took my car. They make you park it about a thousand miles away though. I got rid of it after a few months, because it was pointless. Also whenever I went out there, at least one car I passed on the way to mine had one of its windows busted.

You can have your car freshman year?!

When I was comin back from the 'bus, I always hitched a ride with my friend from Delaware. Keep your eyes peeled for Southwest deals. You can usually get to Philly for under $100 round trip if you get in on some of their deals.

I think hitchhiking is a fine idea...just avoid the creepy guy who pulls up in a 70s van with black electrical tape across all the back windows.
