Get Well Soon, Buchtel

Punk bitch motherfuckers. We need to set up some land mines. In all fairness, you probably shouldn't have been flashing that dual shock around. Crooks see that shit and immediately start scheming. Fuck man, get better.

Thanks guys. I was discharged today. I'm feeling fine, just tired. The first two days I was in the hospital they had me in the "victim protection unit" so different officers came in and out at all times of the night asking me the same questions over and over...:shake:

I actually would like to thank all of you guys for "saving" my family. It was around 1:30 A.M. and I was on BP just reading through some threads because I couldn't sleep. I heard a loud crash, and it sounded eerily close, so I went to see what it was, and I see one queer helping another through a window in my kitchen. I normally keep a handgun in every other room, but the wife went out with some friends the night before and took the one from under the kitchen counter...and didn't put it back. Anyway, I didn't immediately see a gun in either of their hands, so I grabbed the Louisville Slugger and went to swinging....what I didn't know is....there was another one already in the living room. He grabbed me from behind and we started tussling then he reached for his gun and I went to take it from him and he just started firing. I was hit in the forearm, stomach, and thigh. After I hit the ground, I closed my eyes and played dead. Then they fled.

Going through it at that moment isn't nearly as scary as the ride to the hospital. You never know if that's your last ride.

Anyway....Thanks for all the support from you guys here. My heart goes out to you all!

Oh, you know me so well. I told her on the way home that next time she goes out, she has to bring home the hottest chick in the bar.

Thanks though. Tebow was watching over me. :slappy:

Bizarre story man.

Glad to hear you are out of the woods - or at least the hospital.

If they're giving you any pain meds and they have a glaring yellow "don't operate machinery ..." label on the side, remember, always down them with a shot of scotch.
