That’s what happens when you go to the bargain bin for a sun belt coach.

Everyone has injuries in key spots that hurt them. Florida is not unique in that regard. We were unique and that our prior coaches left the cupboard bare and our backups were really not next man up caliber. We should’ve won FSU and we should’ve won Missouri - and screwed the Pooch in both. Not going to a bowl we lost the momentum we had, and in the Brave New World of NIL, the in-state loyalty that was a definite Florida advantage in a fertile recruiting environment is gone.

I think we sit through one more shitty year and Billy and his bankroll leave. He did repair much of the damage Mullen did to our HS coaching relations. Hopefully that will help us with the next guy.
