Re: January 19, 2022 (Barrow County, GA): While playing for the University of Georgia, Smith was arrested for driving on a suspended license and speeding in a construction zone. Radar clocked his vehicle at 89 mph in a 55-mph zone. He was booked and released from the Barrow County Detention Center shortly after.

Just sayin': No, he didn't wait at all. He's a repeat "Georgia Bulldog speeding offender" per above. Having a suspended license (probably) indicates that the 2022 speeding wasn't his first driving infraction either. Once a Bulldog always a Bulldog...... :lol:

Meh. You're preaching to the choir. Hernandez spent just as much time in New England than he did in Florida. And yet, Ohio State gets bashed on other teams' message boards for hiring Meyer.
Of course, no one cares what those teams' fans say.

The narrative was always that the SEC recruited better because no one wanted to go live in the shitty cold in the north.
Are you saying that there's something else in play? Something that the SEC was accused of doing for thousands of years, and has now become legal?
I'm not the dumbest person in the world. But I sure hope the dumbest person in the world doesn't die, or I might be nominated to take his place.
But I think I can figure out what's going on here.

Maybe, just Maybe - the quality of coaches has significantly ASCENDED in the B1G and outside of CKS, the coaching talent has dived in the SEC.

These are 2025 Numbers:
Conference Average Combined Value Per School (Rev-Share + Outside NIL)
Big Ten ~$48.0 million
SEC ~$44.5 million

The Dawgs spent 14mm less, won the league and failed to win the title. Not ideal, but not "broke boi football"

Poking fun at SEC teams is all well and good, but if you want me to bitch and moan about the quality of Georgia football, when we are in the best decade long stretch of my lifetime, you've come to the wrong place my dude.

This....mostly. NIL has also had a lot to do with it.

We saw Urban raise the bar in the B!G and we now see just how high of a bar Saban was keeping up in the SEC. Kirby is the last man standing in the SEC, the rest are very "meh".

(Kiffin is vastly overrated).

The league will sink and swim based on the new guys at Florida and Auburn.

Kellen Moore has not kept up Alabama's success (impossible task).
I appreciate the job Mike Elko is doing at A&M since what he inherited was largely a mess.
Sark is "cruitin'" just fine but Texas has just been above average.
LSU will improve. But it's not like they're going to explode in Year 1.
