Georgia +8.5 at Auburn (ov/un 65.6) 3:30 ET, CBS

I think it's worth mentioning that Reynolds took the initiative to apologize to Sorgi personally (by phone, IIRC) before any disciplinary action was taken. No excuse for what he did, but it showed a sense of responsibility and remorse. I can't recall Reynolds making anything close to a dirty play before or after that incident.

I saw something yesterday that said he would NOT be suspended.

ESPN

The problem with the Georgia game was that there were several instances where he hit Murray late. On one, he drove Murray into the ground and wasn?t penalized.

I hope that the officials of this game, Chizik, Fairly, and the SEC brass get this karma back on their asses manifold.

Chizik said he would not be suspended and he knew in his heart he wasn't trying to hurt anyone because that's not what they teach at Auburn.

I'll let you take it from here....

It disgusts me that it "appears" that the only way that p.o.s. Fairly would have received due punishment was if he had actually maimed Murray or caused him some sort of inordinate pain/injury.

I realize that it's only a few instances over time; however, I must admit that I find Slive to be a thug of a commissioner.
