Be interesting to see if the pollsters slap it to Georgia like they did the Buckeyes after their win over Ohio. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

UGA has so much southern speed, they'll be able to get votes from next week to count this week.....

Not when they lost to an SEC opponent. When you eek by in the SEC, you "overcome adversity" and show "mental toughness".

Sad thing is that Spurrier was making the right calls on that last drive. UGA was failing to make the adjustment to get the LBs off WRs, and Spurrier was going to the middle at the LBs every time. And it was working. I'd like to see how that game would've ended had the ball not been overthrown.

Greetings.
I'm new to the boards but figured I'd add my $.02 since I think I'm the only Dawg supporter on these boards.

The rivalry is classic gafe fest. I would never pretend to know alot about the Buckeyes rivals - but the Dawgs almost always get Carolina's best effort of the year - since we're almost always the first highly ranked team they play.

That said - the drop in the polls is expected and deserved. With UT, Bama, Florida, and LSU on the schedule, Georgia has plenty of time to polish their resume.
