Sometimes advice from elders who have played the game can steer kids in the direction of a position change. I mentioned in a in state recruit thread, that that happened to Jarell White at Cincinnati LaSalle, that his cousin Carlos Hyde advised to not play RB due to length of careers and abuse on the body.
