Missed y'all, but it's been a good six years.

Prison agrees with some folks.

There is only one school to have placed in the top ten ranking in the Learfield Cup since it began. That is my alma mater. We are arguably the premier athletic program in the country in the modern era. I am proud of that as an alumnus.

I'm proud of having studied at Universities that produce & hire large number of Nobel laureates.

Ironically one of those has won said Cup every year of it's existence, excepting the initial year in which it finished 2nd. Now given that you have never claimed to have attended said University, is your dishonesty pathological?

No. I knew this place has degenerated into a shit show but I had no idea how bad.
It's good to have you back. Also, Gator is fairly reformed and not the primary degenerate (or Wall builder). I feel like that's 30% reformation and 70% the new challenger.

Bless your heart.

I was not relying solely on the Learfield points. I said that we are the only program to have been in the top ten since its inception, which is true. That is a measure of marked constancy. But I also base my opinion on such things as winning two basketball NC, and two Football NCs within four years. Having the only simultaneous Basketball and Football championship. We played for the championship at the CWS three times since 2005, and finally won the thing last year. Granted, we do not have as many programs as the Tree, and do not compete in many sports where points for a Football championship counts as much as for Women's Field Hockey. So a well rounded program is a factor, and success in big name interest sports is also a factor.

I have no stats, but I doubt if many programs have won as many NCAA Championships as UF has over the last 5 or 10 years. We've done really well. So have you. So has Stanford. But Stanford has not won the men's "Big Three" as much or as recently as Florida. But it's only an opinion. And I'm admittedly biased to my alma mater. Feel free to have a different opinion Muck.

Try again.

I see that the Swedish Dual Citizenship has turned you into an angry socialist demanding sports program equality.

So Tree was in the top ten every year? Then I was wrong. My bad. So, being the only program besides Stanford in the top ten since its inception, with the litany of 'major' college sports success and National Championships I mentioned, my opinion stands. I can appreciate your shock at finding that a Florida alum on a 'Gatorplanet' thread thinks his school has the best athletics.

It's good to see you again Muck.

For clarity, I think that Muck was saying that Stanford has been #1 every year except the first, when it was #2. So, uh, I think he's saying they're the only university in the top two, every year since the inception.

Can I just say that I hope we are not going to be going down that "ain't Florida great" rabbit hole again? There are plenty of boards for Florida fans to share that viewpoint. As they say in advertising, this is not a conducive environment for those views. I'm not being snarky, by the way. It's just that already things start to escalate.
