New Mexico State team bus robbed after loss to Florida

New Mexico State came into the Swamp and didn't expect to escape with a win - more than likely, they just hoped to get out of Florida without anything too terrible happening to their team.

That doesn't seem the case.

If the tweets from the NMSU Aggies' Athletic Director, Mario Moccia, are to be believed, sometime during his team's brutal 61 - 13 loss Saturday night to McElwain and the Gators, New Mexico State's team bus was robbed.



The sore feeling of being completely demolished - even if the demolishing was expected - has to be compounded upon realizing you're the victim of a crime as well.

Especially bad is the fact a lot of the athletic staff won't be able to drive home because their keys were some of the things stolen.

Exactly how the bus was robbed is unclear, but Moccia says in one of his tweets, 'Bus driver should have never left bus!'

I can only assume that the Buckeyes are fielding those teams for the participation ribbons then?

There is only one school to have placed in the top ten ranking in the Learfield Cup since it began. That is my alma mater. We are arguably the premier athletic program in the country in the modern era. I am proud of that as an alumnus. I get why men's baseball is not on your radar as an important NCAA Championsip. But you should know that UF and tOSU are in a very select fraternity of institutions who have won a NC in baseball, football, and basketball.

Unlike everyone else in the small fraternity, UF did it in years starting with a "2".
