Wow. I'm not sure how I feel about that. If he's 100% awesome, but if he's putting off his healing to play, I'd rather he didnt. If it was a BCS championship game I could see him not wanting to miss for any reason but not for the Gator Bowl as a freshman. He has more bowl games to come if he doesn't really hurt himself.
