I always find it humorous to see people rushing to the gas station to fill up because gas might go up some. It happened after 911, it happened after Katrina, and it is happening now. People start out rushing the stations to beat the price difference, but if you already have 3/4 of a tank you are only saving a buck or two, if that. Then because everyone rushes the stations all at once, some of them start to run out of gas (their inventory isn't designed for everyone in the area to fill up in a 12 hour span) these sporadic outages help to feed the rumors that we will run out of gas, causing the gas rush to increase exponentially. Then sane people who aren't afraid of the sky falling cant get a tank of gas when they are on empty. I have to say the most humours instances are when a gas station raises its price to like 7.00 a gallon and gouges chicken littles as they wait in line. Nothing like seeing a chichen little take it up the ass. Sorry if I have offend you, but it REALLY pisses me off when I can't get gas when I REALLY NEED IT just because a bunch of people have panicked. Classic prisoners dilemma.
