Our hoops coach when I was a student in '87. We had the leading scorer in the nation (Dennis Hopson), beat Kentucky in the first round of the NCAAs before blowing a 16 point second half lead against Georgetown, losing by 3 in round two. Pretty good for OSU hoops at the time.

I had Hopson's autograph. I took it to school to show my friends. My 2nd grade teacher told me the program needed to be in my desk by the time the bell rang. It wasn't. She grabbed it and ripped it up, and threw it away. I wanted to punch her 80 year old face.

I never got Hop's sig but I did have some pretty good debates with Tony White in Poli Sci class. :p
