And yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to do that.

Lots of Buckeye fans+lots of beer+my bad habit of throwing shit/yelling expletives at the tv during UT games=injured engineerhorn

I already did. If I had ONE bullet in a gun, and I saw Osama and Skip Bayless, I'd line their heads up and try to shoot them both. Skip would be in front though.

well, we will have TVs beforehand for sure (will we have antennas?), tho the only thing that might interest you would be the possibility of playing as Texas against OSU... since the rest of us would probably take one for the team and play as bad as possible with the horns :)

Crzykillernut, thanks for the info. I was really confused because the tickets my brother bought were said to be in the UT section (31B) but then I talked to my friend that got his through UT and is sitting in 8AA (opposite sides of the stadium.) I was figuring that one or the other of us had been screwed and were marooned in the middle of Ohio State fans but now it just seems like we're in different sections of UT fans. How well do cell phones usually work around the stadium as I'll have to get in touch with him after the game to meet up?

Well, they get reception pretty well (we are in the heart of a large city after all, don't let the presence of OSU farmland fool ya), but I don't know how usable it'll be :biggrin:

If you can hear the other person you'll be okay though...you might have to resort to text messaging if it is as loud as it should be, even 30 minutes or so after the game

plus realize that the team runs out twice, plus you've never heard any stadium get half as loud as ours for the band. So there will be a good bit of noise beforehand also.

Verizon is probably the best for columbus.

Skip Bayless is an asshat of Screamin' A. Smith levels, but Woodie is just dizzy enough to amuse me at times. Oh, and the chick on the show; she has the squarest head I have ever seen, really check it out. She has a chin on her like Don Shula.:sick1:

ok so i just want to get one thing out there thats bothering me as im looking at espn.com insider . I seriously think texas , virginia tech , miami , all these teams are somewhat over rated , there is no doubt in my mind they are good , but seriously everyone is just on there bandwagon , for exaple , texas has vince young , VT has marcus vick , miami has devin hester , come on , those players are not enough to convince me these teams are ranked 2 , 3 , and 4 let alone higher than osu , for years people continue to disrespect the buckeyes because they dont blow out teams but incase every hasnt noticed a pattern , the buckeyes keep on winning when it matters , even if its by 2 or 3 points , a win is a win , and they cant keep getting call the "luckeyes" becuase it has nothing to do with luck , they are loaded , they have all it takes to win a national championship , they will be led by the best defensive players in the country in aj hawk and one of the most explosive players on the offensive side of the ball in ted ginn jr and might i add he is also a shutdown cornerback, they have the best linebacking core in the country , on paper in and real life , i think this year when they beat USC in the rose bowl , it wont be an upset , because i saw it coming :oh: :io: :biggrin:

Any ideas on an early line for this game? I'm going to be betting a fair bit on this game and I'm just curious if I'm going to be able to get any points. I'm guessing there won't be any points involved but just trying to find out if I can get a few.

i agree with you entirely, man, and youre right about all those teams are being overrated... the acc isn't as dominant as it once was and there's only a few good teams in the big 12, and i bet you'd agree they aren't even that great; i remember when they said that ok state was gonna put up a fight against us and we manhandled them 33-7

I will also be in columbus next weekend, sans tix, but i just got a raise and am about to get shitfaced celebratory style, so I might come home tonight and buy a couple of overpriced duckets.
