all of these merges have created a monstrosity of a clusterfuck... maybe it's just my browser, but i just read the same 30 posts three times each over the last 8 pages...

i still think it was a great game, and i will watch it again tonight...

last night hurt, (the game). but something great did happen, in my opinion texas is better than USC, and we physically stood up to them and were in great position is win the game, it easily couldve gone either way. OHIO STATE will win the remainder of there games this season, easily. texas is far superior to iowa, and michigan, and last night we proved we could play with them.

Texas' D was better than I anticipated. They're O was what I expected. Aside from the first drive and maybe parts of the second, Vince and Co were held in check, and my hats off to them for getting it done when the needed to (TD drive in the 4th).

If I could have 2 plays back, I'd have Hamby catch the pass from Zwick. If he catches that (whcih he should have (twice)) OSU 25 - Texas 22 (I'd assume OSU wouldn't have given up the Safety in that scenario)

The other play... it just sticks in my craw.... VY slipped a blitz from Carp and tossed a 63 yarder. I'd like to have that back.... Woulda coulda been 3rd and long (Or maybe that was 3rd making it 4th)

Texas fans must be terrified each week watching Young hold the ball as he does.

Texas will be lucky to keep winning games where they lose the battle of field position like they did last night. And turnovers. Hats off to Texas for overcoming that, but they need to shore that up if they're to hope to run the table.

ouch is right...

Good Game Texas!!

The game can be summed here in my opinion

1.) Should have had that saftey when the KR stepped over the line
2.) Personal Foul before the end of the half to give them 3 killed
3.) Missed FG
4.) no td's on Turnovers
5.) HAMBY, OMG HAMBY

Anyway it hurts but what a great game on both teams

Positive..

It was a geat game in a great atmosphere. Yeah, I'd have liked it if OSU won, but it wasn't an embarrassing loss by any means.

Edit - and I'd add a play that I want back, since I'm thinking more clearly now... Give Houston about a 2 or 3 foot hook back to the middle and OSU's up by a score of 25 - 16.

I'd give the mulligan to Coach Heacock so he would not call that Cover 2 on the game-winner and rely on a safety to get over the top to help out...

I love to play the what-if game and have been doing it since the end of the game, but at this time, I feel the need to bring back an old saying:

If "if's", "and's", and "but's" were candy and nuts, we's all have a merry Christmas.

[Please forgive me if I paraphrased.]

Go Bucks!

the coverage was there, sweed just made a great catch falling backwards while in mid-air, thats what you can do when your 6'5".

The coverage was a step late...but it is hard to blame Nate at all as that route is a Cov 2 buster. Great call, great read, and a great throw.
