They don't call him Fumbles McScramble for nothing..casey_buckeye said:Something that I noticed watching VY is the way he holds the ball. Even though he torched TSUN, while he ran wild he carelessly held the ball in one hand far away from his body. Is this something that has been a problem and caused some fumble problems for him? To me, it looks like if we put pressure on him, fumbles could be an issue for him and UT. I would like to hear from some UT fans about if this has caused issues before or if it's just something he did occasionally. Thanks and GO-BUCKS!

I believe the Patriots and Lance Armstrong have recently "broken" said jinx.R0CK3TM4NN said:If you're on the cover of SI prior to a big game (Superbowl etc.) you will without fail fuck up and lose said game. See Dee Brown before the NCAA basketball championship game, among others.
So you haven't heard Sooner fans call him that?High Lonesome said:HUH?

Lance broke the jinx twice. However, I'm not sure the Patriots are a good example, b/c if I remember right, Jeremiah Trotter (of the Eagles) was also on the SI cover shortly before this past Super Bowl, so one team necessarily had to defeat the cover jinx at that time.thenumber7 said:I believe the Patriots and Lance Armstrong have recently "broken" said jinx.
