Read this week that Mack Brown may be coaching fall pactices from a golf cart as he continues to recover from his knee replacement surgery back in May. The stance we so often saw of Brown on the sideline, bent at the waist with his hands on his knees, was not some method for seeing the field better, but rather for pain relief.

Hey, if coaching from a golf cart works for Spurrier and Bowden, it can work for Mack Brown too. Maybe he can upgrade to a Rascal someday like Charlie Weis. :biggrin:

What is the almighty lb'ers 40 time? Unless it's electronic timing, I'd say he's no faster than our own frosh LB Thaddeus Gibson.

And utmnc finds yet another way to chest-thump.

All I know is this... I've seen Teddy Ginn run, and he's fast. But when I heard that the Texas LBs were faster.... well.. end of discussion, far as I'm concerned. The only thing I wonder is why UT's LBs do not form 3/4 of the US Olympic Relay team(s).

I would also like to predict that Justin Zwick will replace Smith by the 3rd Q... and it won't be because of any injury to Smith.

Oh, and did I mention that most of UTs.... wait.. actually, now that I look at it.. ALL of UT's replacement players for last year's starters who've moved on, are actually better than those guys they're replacing? Well, if I didn't... they are.
