They are supposed to be "lucky" - they've worn them for many big wins in the past. FWIW....

i was watching GameDay today and they were mentioning i think the 78 team(i think it was 78?) and they broke those out against USC that year and it they said nobody knew they were going to wear them that game and it was a surprise, thats why i'm wondering if this was known ahead of time the ND was going to wear green
btw these one's are alot darker green than in 78(i think it was 78?), the old one's were super bright green and had white numbers, these one's are new school with the dark green and gold numbers

its hard to not give up the ball to them. on TV, they stated that in pete carrols tenure, they are +78 on the turnover margain.
