For the person who sent me the rubies with "their defense was good enough to win two in a row" here's an update for you ....
That was then, this is now. They will have to play one of three teams to win the national championship; Virginia Tech, Texas or Ohio State. All three of those defenses are much better than they will face all season. It is my opinion that any one of those teams can score enough points to beat USC and if on that day, whichever team that is, plays the defense they are accustomed to playing they will beat USC in the Rose Bowl. Let me reiterate. USC's defense is good enough to get them to the Rose Bowl, but not to win it. imo.
BTW they've only won 1 MNC according to the organization that holds the title (BCS) at the moment.

I didn't ding you, but the BCS says we've won two
USC has only won one BCS championship game. How do they say you've won two? Not trying to be bull-headed here just going by how the systems are set up.
BTW after our pitiful performance tonight there are only two teams with a shot at beating USC in a title game, which I'm not sure will happen.
