Game thread: Michigan 27, Penn State 25 (Final)

I can truely say I remained neutral throughout the entire game. things noted.. 1. Hart and Henne have somnething we lack, poise and determination at QB and RB. 2. Michigan got a shitload of spots throughout the game. Gained three, credited with five. No wonder Jo Pa just about had a caniption fit.

Henne threw the ball to a guy on the 5 yard line with 2 seconds left. scUM was lucky he dropped the ball when he got hit right away, leaving 1 second.

Also, when LLLoyd was talking to the refs with 28 seconds left, they ended up having 30 seconds on the clock before the next play started. I didn't hear an explanation for it.

Lloyd called a timeout from the sideline, and the side judge while looking at Lloyd hesitated before waving his arms to stop the clock. I would bet Lloyd was arguing for more than 2 seconds.

I think I was hoping for Michigan to win, but it's so damned hard to root for them that I was rooting for PSU. It was basically win-win for Ohio State. Michigan wins, and the Bucks have a chance to tie for Big10 champions (or maybe even win). PSU wins, and that means Michigan loses AGAIN. Hoping now that their fans can learn to behave like positive members of society.

Thanks, L-rod. I did see a replay of that later last night. Too bad they didn't only put back 1 second in stead of 2. I wonder if they hired the Sparty timekeeper from a couple of years ago to make sure they had 1 second on the clock for that last play. :tongue2:

Perhaps this is not in good taste, but I really don't care. If anyone has any humorous quotes they have heard, feel free to add those as well. But I felt these images were glorious in light of the bitter feelings many of us had towards PSU after two weeks ago.

(CB Leon Hall adding injury to insult by stepping on QB robinson after an INT)
