anybody have a body count for wisky? seemed like a bunch of them got knocked out of action (at least for the game).

No kidding. They had players going out of the game left and right. The stunning thing was that even though his team is banged up and his QB spent half the game on his backside, Bret Bicurious was making every move he could to get a garbage time TD with what was left of his starting offense still in the game. He may say that he was teaching his players a lesson about never giving up, but the real lesson may have been to not follow that moron into battle. I realize no player is going to not be in the game in that situation, but I think he owes it to his players - especially his QB, who was getting abused on that last drive - to preserve their health and the remainder of their season in that kind of situation.

it's a very tough choice... at some point he's gotta be thinking that he should cut his losses and save his troops for scUM next week at home.

Haha a reporter commented "I think there were 10.5 or 10 sacks today..."

How does a team end up with a 1/2 sack? Did the knee "kind of" go down?

sorry for my comment, milkman, I misunderstood your comment and thought you were only asking about 1/2 sacks, not overall sacks for a team. my bad. greenies as apology.

dunno

someone has to be putting some numbers up for Illinois vs Minny tonight based on the score.

Mendenhall- 17 rushes for 201 yards and 2 TDs.........then again it is against Minny. Beanie put up numbers against a MUCH better defense today.

J. Williams- 14 of 21 for 207 yds, 2 TDs & 1 INT. 18 rushes for 133 yards & 1 TD

Both players had impressive games (especially Williams with 340 total yards), but it was against Minnesota.
