hey mili is that you on that picture, sorry i never found out.....

? Easy tiger. :wink2:

Hey guys, I promise you all one thing. The sky isn't falling, every good team has a game where they are challenged in route to a title run. Look back over history, it's pretty cut and dry. FWIW, Illinois is one of the top 5 teams in the Big Ten right now, lets give credit where it's due here.

All I can say is that I am glad we got the tight game out of our system, and my hat goes off to Ron Zook and what he's got brewing in Champaign.

Actually, this was perfect. You think they'll be taking Northwestern lightly now? Great coaches (by the way, OSU has one or more) use such a game to teach. THis is EXACTLY what OSU needed. Yeah, I'd have prefered a blow out.... but, I'm just as sure the lesson will be learned.

B.....I.........NGO

I said the very same thing to a couple of my friends after this game was over. If the bandwagon fans want to hop off........then by all means don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Anyone who follows college football could have predicted this kind of game at some point this season. They all can't be blowouts folks.

And the cooler, and much wiser, head prevails.

Aside from damn near throwing my t.v. out the window during the 4th quarter, I was calm and collected. I think we need to give a little credit to the Illini. They didn't quit when they got down, and they played physical on D. One of the great things about this board has always been to give credit when it's due. Granted, our second half performance on O was less than inspiring, but Illinois came to play. By the way, our defense wasn't too bad, either. :wink2:

Hopefully that's the only one. The only time the Bucks have looked beatable was today, I don't want to see that again....

Every team over the past decade that won a title has looked beatable at least once during the season. This was our game, let's learn and move on.

This game will make the Buckeyes regain their focus, and play hungry next week against NW.

Damn right....I hate frontrunners.

Notice how many of the jackasses who haven't posted in a month suddenly found their keyboards today.

Pathetic.

My only concern is that they were able to get a lot of pressure on Troy and our recievers simply did not seem to be open.

I was scratching my head wondering how Illi was able to cover all of that talent and get pressure.

Anyway...bring on the Wildcats!

I said it in my defensive preview. Illinois is a rapidly improving team, especially defensively. They've got some great athletes on defense, you've got to give them props for their high level of play today.

Look at last weeks game against Wisconsin. They very well could have knocked off the Badgers. They held them under 100 yards rushing, which is excellent.
