After the way some of our defensive players have behaved over the last 4-5 years, I'll have to disagree with this statement. Football is emotional...just because they celebrate tiny victories does not make them classless, pathetic maybe, but not classless.

agreed. Those Cryami fans had a point about some of what our players were doing to Winslow after being tackled in the Fiesta Bowl.

It's not the celebrations that are pissing me off. It's the pushing and shoving and yes, punching, of the ball carrier after the tackle. I've seen just about everything from the Illinois defense today, except of course, choking.

It's not the celebration. It's the trash talking and extra shoving and kicking after the play. I know this is football and not golf but Illinois is pushing it.

True...but Troy talks mad shit as does Teddy and most of the DBs. Jenkins is notorious. Its a two way street and understood amongst the players...its not as disrespectful to them as it is to the fans.

I just don't want to see any of our players, especially Troy since he's running so much, get hurt because of the extra-curricular activies.

nice first half. not perfect, but far from ugly.

the Illini have 72 total yards, 43 of which came on one play. this defense could rival that of 1973 as the greatest in Ohio State history.

edit: the Silver Bullets are holding the Illini to 3.27 yards per play. other than the 43 yard option, they are allowing 1.38 yards per play... that's amazing.
