Me too. If someone hit Trepasso that way I'd want the 15.

Fortunately, Donte didn't hang his head after his mistake, and made the big play.

ginn doesn't make a play on a pass inside the 10 that was in a perfect spot. holmes doesn't catch a pass at the 1 that hit him in the hands. line makes blocking assignment mistakes inside the 20. yep, its the first game of the year alright.

Not sure this was a blocking assignment problem. Looked like a designed screen (Zwick was looking at the RB) but he was covered. Zwick should have thrown is out of the endzone. Confusing all around, but I think the line was supposed to let that guy go, and when they saw the RB was covered they tried make pass blocks.

Oklahoma is showing what can happen if you get too pass happy.

Adrian Peterson is a flat out stud, and he only has 9 carries in the first half, while they're breaking in a new QB. That said, he only has 9 yards (no blocking?), but they MUST feed him the rock in the second half...or else.

Any DC that doesn't put 8 or 9 guys in the box all day long against Oklahoma this year should lose his job. And that's why AP will not be a Heisman finalist this year.

And 9 carries isn't really that few when you have no points. If you're going 3-and-out a few times, it's hard to rack up the carries.

Ball St. was a pretty bad team before they had 13 players suspended yesterday. Don't read too much into that score.
