My view is interrupted a lot but it may be the link and I must make some halftime adjustments to media player, I think.

Zwick has looked very hesitant to me. The pick was a bad decision. They are all over Ginn but he is not finding the others as much as I thought he might. I would like to see Boeckman get some time now and see what it looks like.

A bit sloppy so far in a couple of places but all in all, I like what I see overall for a first half of the season.

What the hell is going on at Iowa? 40-0 at the half?

Zwick looks better, but I don't think he's playing well enough to keep Smith from starting... if he has an error free second half that changes things. But he forced that INT, and missed a couple of easy passes that resulted in FGs instead of TDs. He looks much better tho.

Whitner is playing out of his mind. I loved that he got the INT right after the bogus roughing the kicker call. I really wish the NCAA would do something useful with their deliberations... and realize that plays like that are automatic penalties despite not actually roughing the kicker at all.

If some are concerned that teddy is being contained too much, I would say that Teddy is not going to do anything tricky today. I can easily see him taking that man-in-motion handoff sweep play and passing it to the WR who pretends to miss his blocking assignment and sneaks downfield.

The helmets are ugly, but the rest of their uniforms are a lot better than the new ones.

actually, as anybody who watches football would realize, that was clearly roughing the kicker. He basically rolled up under the punter's leg causing him to fall...that's roughing EVERY TIME, in the pros and in college. The punter is basically defenseless and susceptible to injury. PLayers are taught the proper way to go after a punter and he didn't do it.

the pick was a good decision executed poorly. the line screwed up, zwick found the right matchup to attack, but he failed to step forward.. throw the ball on the money and take the hit that was coming. if that pass is half a yard to the right its 6. holmes was there and had position. zwick just didn't put it in the right spot.

ginn doesn't make a play on a pass inside the 10 that was in a perfect spot. holmes doesn't catch a pass at the 1 that hit him in the hands. line makes blocking assignment mistakes inside the 20. yep, its the first game of the year alright.

Wisky defense looking good. They made Omar Jenkins use up 37 seconds to drive the length of the field to tie the game in the last minute of the half.

Jwins, sorry, but I thought it was roughing the kicker also.
