Game Thread Game One: #1 Ohio State 35, Northern Illinois 12 (9/2/06)

Haha coming from fans of a team who struggled to beat San Diego State.

The video wasn't badass because of what highlights were in it. I posted all of those videos on youtube, it's not the 1st time I have seen them. It's not everyday you see an NIU video with abunch of highlights to music.

Why that video would make you think less of NIU is beyond me. Most of those are from 2 or 3 years ago.

As for the SIU game, we struggled. I'm sure we were overlooking them because we played Iowa State the week after. We won the game, that is all that matters.

My apologizes that the video wasn't good enough for you. IF you base your opinon on the NIU/OSU game off of a video that includes exactly 1 highlight from last year, then you are a fool.

With the exception of the first play from scrimmage, this game was a typical JT beating of an inferior opponent. See Game Stats especially the Drive Chart.

I'll save G-Futz the trouble of looking. After their 80-yard TD on the game's first play, SDSU had a grand total of 99 yards of total offense...that's 99 yards in 59:49 seconds of play. Also, after their second drive--for a grand total of 15 yards on six plays--all but one of their following 12 possesions ended either in a 3-and-out (nine times), a turnover (once), or end of half (once). Meaning they had one single drive out of twelve where they had the ball for more than three plays.
