Game Thread Game One: #1 Ohio State 35, Northern Illinois 12 (9/2/06)

They are calling for rain tomorrow, supposed to be off and on all day. Hopefully the weathermen are wrong like usual but rain could effect the passing game. Thankfully we have 3 more than capable running backs to haul the pigskin if it turns into a slop fest

There probably wasn't going to be much passing anyway, at least by tOSU. I expect a similar game to 2005 Northwestern. Just keep pounding that ball down their throats.

Weather Underground (www.wunderground.com) is showing that it should clear up by around 2:00 PM. So hopefully that's the case.

"Everybody knows about (senior quarterback) Troy Smith and (junior flanker) Ted Ginn Jr.," Novak said of OSU's two Heisman Trophy candidates who both came out of Cleveland's Glenville High School.
"But I watch the tape of the Notre Dame game and get the shakes."

Alright ladies and germs, it is now 2:40 a.m. Saturday morning on the Korean Peninsula, and time for me to retire for the night. When I awaken in the morning it will finally be game day again, a day I have been awaiting for eight long months. I think this season may take on a special meaning being overseas, and let me tell you all, there is no shortage of us Buckeyes over here! All the dreams and expectations for the coming season will begin to unfold in less than twenty four hours, and I can't wait to share them with my new friends here in Korea, old friends in Ohio, and all my friends here on BP!
One last
:oh:
