Although I have DirecTV, since the game won't be in HD 'll be at the East Side Grill with the rest of the local alumni association...at the door 5:45 am sharp and drinking as soon as they pour me one.

I thought BTN was broadcasting the game in HD? I know some of the recent cable companies won't be able to get it HD in time...but if you have DirecTV, I thought you were safe...

Didn't see that in the thread...

They said last night that the OSU game is being broadcast in HD but it doesn't really matter, I'm not going to complain.

Agree....I am just thankful to see it.

Don't quote me on this...but I believe BTN said they would provide more college sports in HD programming than ABC/CBS.

DirecTV has said their new satellite on which the BTN HD feeds would ride wouldn't be ready in time for the first few weeks of the season. If that has changed over the last couple days, I didn't hear about it. Still going to East Side Grill tomorrow, though...
