2027 GA DL David "DJ" Jacobs is a Buckeye!!!

Don't get nervous when read a DJJ post (yeah, right!), and hope that the Buckeyes win out in this sweepstakes. Know that staff is still recruiting him, and strengthening the bridges that they have built. Time will tell, and all the other parables can think of. Don't really read (in recruiting forum) where they're trying to recruit his replacement should a flip occur, so gotta trust the coaches. No matter what one says, never 100% until ink goes on paper, and even then, we've seen stuff occur. Go Bucks!
His visits are to help with his brother(at least that's what he and his family have said and I can only go by their word)

From 247 Georgia insider on Jacobs:

DJ hasn't altered his outlook on the purpose of these visits the entire time. He has remained as consistent as can be.
"I've been going on most of these visits for my brother, man," Jacobs said. "I've gotta go support him as he supported me. I'm just looking at it and seeing how he likes it. I'm just going for my brother mainly."
The Buckeyes haven't flinched to this point.
"We're all good," Jacobs said. "It's like family over there. They support it. They know I need to support my brother, so they're cool with it. I'm hoping to see everyone with smiles on their face. I'm excited for us to get after it."
From connecting with those involved with this recruitment behind the scenes, it should surprise nobody: Several programs other than Ohio State are expected to make final contract offers, perhaps outpacing Ohio State's current offer.
Ohio State will have the opportunity to see some of that and counter as required during the upcoming Nov. 7 visit, and as Signing Day gets closer.

Notably, 247Sports sources have suggested Ohio State's confidence level of keeping Jacobs hasn't wavered despite constant pressure from others, and there's something to be said for that, too.
