2027 GA DL David "DJ" Jacobs is a Buckeye!!!

only one sentence in that excerpt is meaningful and it’s the quoting of the Dad if that is true.

Literally every major program is going to be in contact with every top-of-the-class player until the signing period wraps up. They’d be stupjd not to try.
Yeah, once he committed to OSU I'm sure most of us knew there would be endless articles about wondering if he'll flip. The endless need for subs, clicks and likes is pretty much driving the recruiting industry

DJ Jacobs is expected to visit Ohio State for 2-3 games this season, no word yet what those games are but my guesses would be Illinois (maybe), Oregon and Michigan.

I could see the staff wanting him to get on campus early in the season for that Illinois game and late in the season.

And unlike yesteryear, tOSU (or other college) can/may pay the way for a recruit to visit a game. For those too young to remember, on a non-official visit, a recruit had to pay their own way, else classified as a violation. Now, the school pays, and sometimes kicks in a 'honorarium' of cash for the recruit's time and trouble. Predict that DJJ will find out that the Buckeye faithful support the home team against a 'body bag' game as well as a national power....

Well, guess that the pundits wouldn't get any views if they wrote Tennesse recruit probably signing with Buckeyes. Heck, I wouldn't bother if it was other way around.....soooo they put their best face, and best spin on the article. As we've found out, doesn't have to be accurate, but should at least have a smidge of truth. But do notice Pops said 'more than likely to sign' with the good guys. But might want to put some money in Vegas on the good guys winning.
