Even then, anything before about October is still sketchy most of the time for kids not from OhioWhatever. This is why I stopped paying attention to recruiting outside of the next class coming in.

I really don't start following kids now before they finish their junior year unless they are from my neck of the woods in Ohio....for this reason. When he committed I have a half-hearted "yay!" because I had a feeling there was no way it would stick. If we get a verbal from a kid in the south more than a couple months before the signing period, it really doesn't mean anything unless there is some real tie to OSU.Even then, anything before about October is still sketchy most of the time for kids not from Ohio
Why commit. Do you understand the word?Whatever. This is why I stopped paying attention to recruiting outside of the next class coming in.
Not committing just “shacking up”. There is a phrase that’s not “woke”.Why commit. Do you understand the word?

Because kids committed to Ohio State make more money on their circuit of southern visits.
It also gives an immediate transfer portal plan B if things don't work out at the first school.This. Gives the kid a credible threat of leaving to up his NIL deals and if worse comes to worse, holds a spot in the OSU class.
Kids aren't dumb.
Interesting that he committed to us once and now we’re not on his top 10
A top 40 recruit and only 1 school in the current top 10 in either major poll in his top 10? Odd, very odd.No Georgia and no Bama? Odd.
