Twice, they say, Lewis has demanded the ball in the huddle this season. The first time was more than two months ago, a last-second shot that beat Tennessee. The latest a 23-foot 3-point bomb with two seconds left to push No. 1 Ohio State to overtime Saturday against Xavier.

"Twenty-five," he said, smiling.
Think about that. Twenty-five feet and two seconds from No. 1 Ohio State?s second-round elimination by unranked Xavier and a sudden and unexpected end to Lewis? college basketball career. "I wanted it," Lewis said. "I told (Mike Conley Jr.) even before we left the huddle, ?Just give me the ball.? "
