My opinion is it is an "Us" problem. The tone starts at the top. The locker room attitude starts at the top. Cancers should be eliminated quickly before they spread like we have witnessed. Lack of effort and attitude comes from the top down. Look no further than Urban Meyer.

Re: Lyle was one member of Ohio State's five-man 2015 recruiting class which ranked fifth nationally — zero members of that class remain.

I wish Lyle well at UNM; however, I just keep thinking that that class was the primary cause of Matta's "problems" at Ohio State.

That's about the level I figured he would land...just below high majors. The Lobos were 17-14 last year, and I would assume Albuquerque is an amazing city (I've never been there).

Lyle clearly still has a great deal of affection for his former teammates and the Buckeyes.

Not sorry he's gone, but wish him well in all his future endeavors.
