It still is coming out on the 22nd right? Or has it been pushed back again :(

Oh, FYI - I have now watched that intro 15 times and I cannot get enough of it. It is perfect timing too since I am on the last mission of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and I can trade that in!

That looks awesome. Do you guys usually use the standard controller or a steering wheel. I have always used the controller until last year I played GT3 on a friends with the brand new Logitech Driving force Pro wheel. It was unbelievable. It was like you could feel every crack in the road. I am hoping to pick up a wheel set when I get the game.

My buddy also has a seat set up similar to this one, that he made himself. freaking awesome. We take this set up with us in our RV when we go to races it is a blast.

That is the goal for tonight. Will call around some Best Buys before I leave work and go straight to the one that has it. (Also plan on leaving an hour or two early from work) Unfortunately I will also have to buy a new PS2 since I think I busted the optics as my games now will skip and I have to shake the PS2 to get it working again. I shook it just a little too hard this past weekend :roll1:

But back to GT4. Read some reports this morning about how great it is. The driving is unbelievably real. Apparantly there is only one glitch if you go too fast and the game can't keep up if the landscape is too busy the game might delay for a second. But that is it.

Also, hopefully everyone still has their GT3 memory cards. You can load your saved GT3 money and passed licences over to GT4!

DAMNIT! I deleted that card about a month ago. :(

Oh well there's something to be said about playing all the crappy cars, it's kinda fun.

Oh My Freaking God!

This morning I am asking myself why am I at work and not at home still playing GT4. Then my thumbs tell me I need a rest and realize I am almost 30 and shouldn't call off work to play Playstation all day

The game is the bomb!!! Still getting use to the car buying, just way to spread around and the menu area is still weird. But dang... the gameplay is unbelievable and graphics cannot be topped! I also remember why I hate the Seattle Street race... damn tight turns!

This is a must get game guys!

Luckily I don't have a job right now. Up till 3:30 playing last night. As expected it rocks. Don't feel so bad, I'm almost 40.

As far as the licenses and Credits transferring, It will only allow you to transfer up to 100k in credits, and only your A and B licenses. You will still have to earn the higher ones, but the process is much better I think, they give you pretty good descriptions on line, and braking to get through. There is a new feature in the license area where you have to tail a pace car for a full lap and post a time. The Italian street course is a bitch.

The steering wheel totally kicks ass.

I'm sure this is far and away the greatest racing game (it always is)... but are there any out there that were addicted to Project Gotham Racing 2? I realize I'm mixing my platforms here... but I'm just curious how it compares...

To GT4? PGR2 doesn't compare...

PGR2, although kind of realistic, still sets itself as an arcade racer rather than a racing simulator. Don't get me wrong, PGR2 is a good game, and is quite fun at times, but as far as the total package, GT4 blows it out of the water (except for graphics, but considering the hardware handicap of the PS2, the graphics are ridiculously impressive). I just got my copy yesterday and I'm seriously considering getting that Driving Force Pro wheel after just a couple hours of game play. BuckNasty, where can you get a seat like that? I was thinking of making one with the driving force pro, an old sparco seat, and some pvc...but that looks way better.

Can't wait to go to my parents place in a few weeks and play this thing on their HDTV...

If you search google for video game racing seat or something like that you should find a bunch of them. My buddy just did what you are thinking about. He welded a plate on the bottom of a Go Kart seat we had and put welded a short piece of square tube onto the plate. then he just got another piece of square tube a little smaller and slid the seat onto it. he then put an angle piece on the bottom for the pedals and he mounts the wheel on a separate stand that you just sit in front of you when you get into the seat. I have seen some of the premade ones anywhere from 150-400, you can also check eBay I have seen them on there as well.
