Yep - in their weekly bowl projections. I've been defending UC around here as strong as anybody for the past couple weeks, but even I can't defend that [censored].

UC is my main game at noon, and I'll be checking in on Wisc-MSU, IU-scUM & SFla-FSU.

Bearcats are up 14-3 with the ball late in the 1st qtr. This game would prove nothing of course, but they're doing what they're supposed to do so far in this one.

Fresno State finds the end zone thanks to some power running on a sustained drive.

UC leads 14-10.

That's the first time I've seen a team run with some power against UC. I think that'll be the key to beating them - wearing out a defense with ten new starters, many being converted from offense, and keeping Pike & Co. off the field. We'll see if Fresno can sustain it.

Looked like a holding penalty might kill that drive for Fresno , but they were able to throw over the middle for the TD to make the score 21-17, UC.

Cincy needs to pick it up. Fresno can turn the game at any time.

Fresno continues to eat up clock with their possessions, but also draw penalties. They were forced to punt and pinned UC inside their own 5.

Fresno State is driving again. Cincy's defense can't get off the field. They are at a big time of possession deficit at this point and their inexperienced defense has to be wearing down.
