10 coordinators who are impressing this fall and 5 who have been massive disappointments

Guess which group Kerry Combs is in?

Two comments:

1) There's another big name DC from a top school (i.e. Tony Elliot OC, Clemson) in that group too.

2) You have to appreciate how Combs is handling the situation (i.e. professional manner, no excuses/blaming/whining, and working with the coaching staff and doing whatever it takes to improve the defense, etc.)

I swear there are way too many negative mother fuckers on this board... kerry combs, cj stroud, urban.. we are coming off a national championship game, the best recruiting stretch of our lives, and watching a prolific offense lead this team back into the top 5.. and the board is almost unreadable some days because of you assholes... are you sure you are actually fans and not just trolls... or had covid taken such a toll on you that all you can do is shit on everything you see...

I assume you're talking about my comment? If not I apologize..

I'm just confused how he'd get a game ball before Matt Barnes would? I guess unless Kerry got play calling duties back which I'd doubt?

I’m talking about the lot of you.

If you’re really confused, I’m not sure what to say. Perhaps it was nothing more than a gesture from all to recognize that this hasn’t been easy on him and, again, nothing more than all saying that they appreciate his work and being part of the family.

You hear the kids and coaches preach family with this team a lot. Sometimes family pick each other up.

Is / was Barnes deserving? Sure… absolutely. Deserving based on the metric they used to award the game ball today? I guess not. I trust Day to know and understand what this team needs… and that team extends beyond the players.

Without intending to be as rude as this sounds, I trust Day… I don’t trust you.

Shoot I don't even trust me so I don't blame you lol..

I've posted that I appreciate Kerry so that's not what I meant by saying Barnes I figured would've been recognized. You're right though I have no idea what went into the decision.

I dont keep track of who says what.. i was about 10 pages behind and started catching up... but honestly i find myself coming here less lately.. yesterday i read the urban mess.. the last time i was in a game thread was minnie.. i have family members i wont watch a game with for the same reason.. some people just have nothing but anger and vitriol towards people they claim they support.
