Worthless indeed.

Who gives a rat's-ass about what a group of old burned-out coaches thinks. Half these old bastards won't even be awake when we play Texas. What's gonna happen when then vote on a National Champion? Are they going to lock them in a room and wait for a "puff" of white smoke to emerge, just like when the 95 year-old Cardinals vote on a new Pope?

In theory, I agree, except that we have a "championship" in which polls play an integral part. Seeing as how this poll isn't part of that process, however, it is totally worthless. Polls are just musical chairs where they turn the music off in January, and call someone "champion".

I won't be on pins and needles waiting for this one.
