For NCAA Fottball 2006 lovers

Yes, all message boards regarding video games are full of morons.

The street date is 7/12. If this is strictly followed, stores will get their shipments on 7/11 and could possibly sell them at 12:01 AM (tuesday morning).

However, the actual EA website now lists the game as "current", which by their definition means it is in stores. If you call your local EB or Gamestop or whatever, they will be annoyed because you are the 100th person to call them this hour about the release date, and tell you it will be the 12th.

This could change, because EA can easily ship the games starting today, and the stores receive them today or tomorrow. If that's the case, they might have instructions to not sell the game until the 12th....or they might be allowed to sell the game whenever.

The best bet is to go to your local store and pre-order. They should ask for your phone number when you pre-order. Then they call you when the shipment comes in.

All the confusion is strictly EA's fault. Last year they had a countdown clock and a hard street date. This year they have never officially said July 12th....and now their website says the game is in stores even though it's not.
