Food often an afterthought during Spring Break

Food often an afterthought during Spring Break

Ah . . . yes, the eating habits of springbreakus drinkaloutus, also known in less scientific terms as Spring Breakers. Every year in early spring this populous species of students migrates from university campuses and flocks to coastal beach towns throughout the South.

They drink. They party. They eat -- well, sort of, kind of, maybe not.

"Honestly, we only think of food when it comes to the consumption of alcohol," says Kilmartin, also from the University of Massachusetts. "That's when we really need the carbs."

Captain obvious also went on to report the following: Grass is green, the sun is hot and Thump is into anal.

Dude I always lost weight on SB....since most people that go on SB are workout fiends....I wonder if the layoff has an effect? I always seem to lose weight when I skip workouts for a week. Is it muscle lost? Who knows.

Could it be that loss of water weight due to dehydration from alcohol?

Ashley Houck from Columbus (Ohio) State Community College and three friends from Ohio University weren't sure about their dinner plans, nor their lunch plans.
Breakfast that morning was "salsa and chips and diet Coke," she said. "It's what was there. Oh, and there were some celery sticks."
However, on Wednesday afternoon their supply of noodles and leftover pizza was running low, as were their finances.
"Unless we get asked out, I am not sure what we are going to do," Houck said. "There must be something left in the fridge."

isnt their a builiding on campus with that name?

It could be....but I consistently lost 5 lbs in college (and 10 in HS).

I tried to refuel (i.e. drink plenty of gatorade, etc) on every trip. Spring Break to me was never really a vacation...it was really a torturefest on the body.

For example....going to bed at 4 o'clock am (sometimes 6), drunk 12 hours of the day, trying to remember a girl's name, playing hoops with a southern school frat to prove your worthiness....etc. As much as it was hard, it sure was damn fun.

But....I still lost weight on SB.
