I wouldn’t have even put this stunt past the real Pete Thamel. I had an SI subscription back when they had real sports journalism. But on April 1st all that was out the window. My father and I got a mild chuckle out of the Sidd Finch issue. This was… somewhat less amusing

Edit. Yes, I know Thamel doesn’t work for SI anymore. The point is that even “legit” reporters/sites turn into trolls on April 1

Yep any big news today I don't believe it. I'm surprised no one has put out a tweet we are hiring Mike Hart's exercise bike as RB coach

I remember hearing that Tennessee fans threatened to sue the Heisman committee when Manning didn't win. I'm not sure that was real, but I pretend like it was.
I know fans and "officials" are not the same, but are they really that different?
