He grew up there. I’m partial to Less than Jake if we’re picking local artists, but I respect the hell out of Petty’s taste in guitars. Dude’s Ricks are beautiful.

also they still bring this thing (a cat skeleton with purple and gold mardi gras beads) to Death Valley every other year (first broke it out the week after Mike died back in 2016-ish)
