They started the season with an open battle between treon and Grier. Treon I believe is a rs soph and had the lead until the freshman Grier took over. It is a pretty big step down and their passing game will drop off a lot. They will gain the dual threat aspect as treon is really quick, but really struggles as a passer. I had them pegged to lose sec champ game but now I think they drop 2 regular season games, maybe 3 if Georgia can get their shit together.

They both were in the same class. Treon a true sophomore and Grier a redshirt freshman. And I'm not saying that he's better. If he was, he'd be starting. I just don't think they'll go on the tank. 10-2 is probably their ceiling.

Police: Florida DB Deiondre Porter Held Gun To Pregnant Girlfriend's Head, Later Shot In Her Direction

Gators defensive back Deiondre Porter was arrested this morning after Gainesville police say he held a gun to the head of his pregnant girlfriend and later fired the gun in her direction. Porter booked into an Alachua County jail at 11:19 a.m. on three charges, including felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and felony shooting into or throwing deadly missiles into dwellings. He was held on $160,000 bond.

The confrontation happened on Sept. 29, and spanned two different arguments at the girlfriend’s apartment, one at 2:15 a.m. and another at about 7:15 a.m., according to the sworn complaint filed by police. Both times, Porter accused his girlfriend, who was 10 weeks pregnant at the time, of being intimate with one of his teammates, the girlfriend told police. The girlfriend said she insisted that wasn’t true.

During the first fight, Porter held a gun to her head and “continued to demand that the victim tell the truth,” the complaint said, but he eventually put it down and said they would try again in the morning (he slept in her bedroom, she slept in the living room). In the second one, Porter allegedly shot in her direction, hitting a wall she was leaning against, then left the apartment.
