I would have said tune in to Stanford/Oregon but Stanford just choked on the goal line to make it a 1 score game. Oregon ball up 2tds on their own 5. Lot of time left though. Don't watch if you like defense though...
If you have it watch Washington USC, that's the good one.

Zook sucked at Florida but it wasn't because of the players he brought in. I never said Meyer let the ball drop in recruiting but you don't win a MNC in your second year at a school if the players the last coach left suck. I think Zook is doing the same thing at Illinois, I'm not saying they will win an MNC when he leave but they will be dangerous.

I would have agreed 2-3 years ago when he had brought in 3 straight top-25 classes. The recruiting has really fallen off the last couple years. Last year's class and this year's verbals are both ranked in the mid-50's, ignoring the always subjective nature of recruiting rankings.

As Woody said, my soul is cleansed.

I have some positives to take away. Moved the ball, red zone disasters aside. Addazio is not our answer as an OC. We have an "A" passer forced into an option offense. It took Meyer a year to get it righted last time. But that was Mullen. I fear Urban is too loyal to Coach A to fix this in 2010.

Isn't Addazio the head coach when Meyer is on sabbatical?

South Carolina, maybe... our offense is pretty offensive in many ways. And Addazio... ouch! I normally take stuff in stride, but I was screaming at the TV over the whole jump pass on that first goal line stand. Tebow is gone! And the new guy nearly had it on the previous try despite the terrible snap! Just run it! After that... well, that was one painful game to watch. I do think we'll get another crack at the gumps, though. If nothing else the coming game with Les Miles and Addazio both involved in the same game should max out both teams' boneheaded play quotas for the rest of the year. (Speaking of which, if Nutria is reading this, Les Miles is the physical incarnation of the saying "better lucky than good")
