No, it's not. Running up the score on a defenseless FCS team is bad sportsmanship; running up the score on the undefeated #3 team in the country is perfectly acceptable, especially when said team has been jawing all year about how great they are, and how they were disrespected by not being in the BCS championship game, and how they are Ohio's real BCS team, and how Ohio is bUCkeye state, etc. etc. etc. UC has said all year that they belonged ... obviously, they didn't belong, at least no more so than Florida International or Troy or Kentucky or any of the other patsies that Florida has beaten up this season.Nicknam4;1632777; said:I personally don't care what team it is, it's bad sportsmanship.
He loves these 27 point BCS wins.41-14 and 51-17. Shit, I'd hate to see what Meyer does to schools he doesn't hold degrees from. :p

Even in the in-your-face rival filled SEC I have not encountered a more obnoxious fan base. They outnumbered us in the Dome, and for hours before the game people kept walking - uninvited by word or look - up to my sons and I telling us how "We'd never seen a team like them", "We're putting Teabag out of the game - get his tears ready" , "You give us no credit - now you have to be our bitch" and many more gems (those are just a few quotes I remember).
I usually told them "Isn't it great that you can tell your grandchildren you went to a big bowl" and keep walking, but - man....
So short story is, I had a really, really good time.

Then, I see that they are talking nonstop nonsense about Ohio State and acting in a way that can be described only as totally classless. It's just too bad that Florida didn't score one more time.
I'll be rooting for Cincy again next year but I will have no illusions. You see, I always support the underdog.
Cincy fans should take comfort in the swiftness of their demise. It took the original small man, Napoleon, some six months to die of cancer. Their illusions died in an afternoon, when their first quality opponent this year throttled their illusions of belonging in college football's elite before half-time.
