I'll buy the running up the score argument if Florida was doing that to Western Carolina, a thoroughly overmatched team. Against teams of your caliber, like Georgia, it is not your job to keep them from getting embarrassed. The Dawgs quit playing when they knew they were beat, and suffered the consequences.

I'm confused. What do an ex-Arkansas/Clemson coach, Texas's QB and Pitt's RB have to do with it?

Without UGA's garbage TD getting the over, many of us would agreee with you on Urban needing 1 more score. :wink2:

I know what Tress would do, and I wouldn't be mad at all if he did the same thing in the same situation. In a few cases, I don't mind when things like this happen. This is one of those rare situations.

Richt learned a lesson today. He got himself humiliated. It was awesome.

UGA was extremely overrated from day 1, but Florida is very good.

I have no issue with running up the score.
UGA should have sucked it up and stopped them if they didnt want to be embarassed.

Wow, what a stupid f'n conversation. These two teams are HATED rivals.

Rivalries are where quotes like "Because I couldn't go for 3" come from, where teams come out and try to tear down the other teams banner. Where the two teams on the field do not like each other, the coaches do not like each other, the fans do not like each other.

I see nothing wrong with what Florida did today, sure, they may regret it next year or in the years to come, but it just makes watching the cocktail party that much entertaining each year.

Pretty sure Tress would have no issue hanging extra on any SEC team he had the chance to, mainly just to shut the press and most of their annoying fanbases' up.

Florida didn't take a knee because it could. And Woody went for 2 because he couldn't go for 3.

Tressel has laid it on some teams in the past. That said, Urban Meyer isn't Jim Tressel. They are different people.

I thought the gators were better going into the game, but I didn't think they were this much better.

UGA got dismantled for a second time against a team of equal (or in this case, superior) talent.

This makes me want to see what Florida does against a team like, say, Alabama.
