I knew that would come up. No he shouldn't have, but Pryor needs reps, Tebow doesn't. And Pryor doesn't have the flu. My issue isn't only Tebow being in the game at that point, but still being in the game and having the flu.

I can't, so you disagree, fine, but Tebow hasn't made a career of taking shots from 265lb monsters, right in the face. It's conjecture sure, but it's at least reasonable to me that he may have been less alert due to being sick.

Depends on how bad it is, it can definitely reduce your alertness. Your are not supposed to fly planes or operate heavy machinery with moderate or worse flu symptoms. If he was bad enough to warrent a separate charter flight, I think it's pretty likely he was at least moderate.

Well I'm making an assumption at this point, but I would think that it were as severe as you're suggesting that he wouldn't have been cleared to play. If he was good enough to start I would think he'd be good enough to finish.

I think we can agree on this though, while we wouldn't wish for him to get hurt I don't think either of us wanted to see him get Heisman stats.

True!

30-0, Purdue is leading Notre Lame, and Iowa is leading PSU. It's all good.

the rest of us noticed that almost 4 hours ago :p.

herbie said he was being held overnight for observation. how normal is that for a concussion?

Probably more of a precautionary thing than anything. Blows to the head like that can do a lot more than give concussions. They're probably running tests on other stuff.

I'm not a doctor, I don't know why I'm speculating. Didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, either.

They (Urban Meyer Show) showed Spikes' pre-game speech before we laid 31 points on the Cats in the 1st Quarter. Quote:

"Don't let them play with us. Let's remind them we're still Florida and they're still Kentucky!" :slappy: 23 wins in a row versus the Cats.
