Originally from West Virginia, Parks is now playing at Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney and he was at Ohio State over the weekend where the visit went really well. The 2026 four-star defensive tackle feels that the coaches care about him and want him there as the Buckeyes, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Miami stand out most now.

Kinda thought that (size comparison), he might be half a step better or worse than what tOSU already has. Not entirely certain why, but looks like the Buckeyes are going to stand pat with what they've got.

Kinda wondering how NIL works, if schools can 'adjust' NIL offerings as they go through recruiting season, mayhaps taking $ from one NIL offering and adding to a higher/more wanted kid? Seems strange, given that the recruit is unlikely to get more from another team (am basing on above posts), but maybe recruit is starting to look at what/who he's signing up for? Guess that the recruit might have awakened and smelled the coffee, and now is taking into consideration what he shoulda done in the first place. Guess we'll never know. PS, seems like tOSU has it's OL settled for the 2026 season, or not.
