I respect Birm, but if it's actually true the coaches are fine with losing our best DE recruits at a high position of need...I'm not fine with that mentality.

I'd be curious to know the breakdown of how much time is spent recruiting high schoolers and how much on the portal now. Glad we have someone like Pantoni and his staff to coordinate all that.

I think it’s more about where you’re going to spend your money (I hate saying that). They want to spend money on immediate stars or starters (JJ or JT) and not developmental freshmen.

I hear you, but DL and OL is where NIL needs to go. Losing two top DEs is just making me feel like it's the same thing all over again and leads to a real issue at DE if we don't destroy the portal.
Stay in the trenches with the money. Get the best lines in football and you'll be in every single game even with mediocre skill players which we'll never have here as long as Hartline and Day are here. Show me something from the line recruiting!

Whatever I guess, we'll never face him in the playoffs since his team will never be there. Have fun in Boulder, nice town for sure. Maybe could have let us know earlier though so we don't get screwed on DE recruiting.
