That is excellent news if true. We need a pure pass rush specialists and not only is Booker that exact player, he is basically a legacy recruit. I was going to pop in this thread for an update because I think if you add Booker to Houston, DE is going to feel pretty good...we would need one more, but that would be two guys that are extremely talented and compliment each other very well.

Ohio State had been the leader for a while and by all accounts, the four-star from Tampa (Fla.) Wharton was a take in Columbus but the chatter now is all around Miami. There were some rumors that the Hurricanes were going to land Pickett the same night 2025 five-star defensive lineman

committed to Miami. That didn’t happen and Pickett said recently that Miami, Ohio State and Florida State are the front-runners but the Canes could be in the driver’s seat now for sure.

Miami seems to be trending for the Florida four-star edge prospect. But Pickett Jr. has publicly stated in the past he’s planning on taking an official visit to OSU, with the Penn State or Michigan State games appearing as the two most likely options. If the Buckeyes are convinced Pickett Jr. would be a premier addition to their 2024 class, expect a full-court press when that visit occurs.
