Interesting...it seems they might be getting Inniss as well.Looks like he’ll be headed to Oklahoma in a few weeks.
As desperate and gimmicky as the lambos and Ferraris sounded, apparently it worked to some extent. I don’t think I’d want my kid committing to a program that feels like it has to pull stunts like that to earn his commitment. And vice versa, I wouldn’t want a recruit who’s gonna commit even loosely based on such a gimmick.
Anything coming from the OU guy Drumm on this? I’d think the “Sam Webb of the south” would be dropping golden nuggets to their fanbase if they’re indeed getting these guys.
I know it was for flash and whatnot, but did anyone specifically say what the coaches were selling with the cars? I don’t understand the significance of parking those cars on the field.

Yeah of course. Any skill guy is gonna wanna go there and pad their stats. But the superficiality of the cars in the end zones would push me to any of the other schools who’s offense is just as dynamic. It's not a surprise for any offensive skill position player to look at OU. You'll put up points and play in a wide open offense. Makes complete sense for a RB/ATH and WR. I know we like to laugh at the fancy cars at the event, but Riley's offense puts up points and stats and dominates their conference(similar to OSU), and they have little defensive interference from the Big 12. Get Young, keep looking nationally, and if need be pursue the Hamilton RB.

Don’t feel like I need to justify my opinion. But I’m impressed how easily you saw right thru meAre you looking at this scenario from an adult or a 16-17yo boy? Because it seems like you're viewing this as the former. Flashy toys work with teenagers, and coaches know this. Pretty girls flirting also works with Teenage boys, coaches also know that. OU being favored isn't much of a surprise since they attracted kids on a very basic level. And I'm not saying that only nice cars is what's getting top kids to commit as my previous post as stated the main reasons why offensive skill players choose OU. But a Ferrari on the field can be a nice touch to some
