First offensive play of the NC game?

Counter play right where Beanie follows Rehring into the hole and runs for about 12 yards.....

i've been thinking about that counter a lot lately. that could be a huge play for us the whole game, especially if dorsey is getting through the line. we run it away from him then once he gets through the line beanie can cut it up through the hole created by his absence. i dont know much about x's and o's, but it seems good to me:biggrin: is that play used to counter act a dominant inside defensive line or would you expect us to use more tosses and sweeps?

It all depends on how they decide to block it and how the LSU linebackers react to it.

I think the counter plays will have some room just because of the supposed mobility of the LSU linemen.

If Ohio State can get Rehring and Person up the field and blocking the the outside LB on whichever side of the field they are running it too, I'll take my chances with Beanie one on one with the LSU safeties.....

That said, I don't see a lot of tosses and sweeps initially. LSU does have some mobile players that can stretch those plays out. the idea will be to get up the field immediately on them. No screwing around in the backfield....

Henton will line up at WR, Boeckman will throw to him, Henton will run back to the middle of the field and hand it off to Small. Then Small will throw it deep to Robiskie!!

Kidding..

Probably a run up the middle from Beanie. And then another. And then another.. and so on. Hopefully it's that easy! :tongue2:
